Books have always played a large part in Philippa's life, as she is the daughter of two librarians. She has worked in bookshops and in the publishing industry, and published her first book in 2007.
Philippa is now editor of Organic NZ magazine, and was co-chair of the Soil and Health Association of New Zealand from 2006–2008.
